A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFO.
I purchased this truck brand new back in the summer of 1995. First new
car! Thanks Mom and Ed... Anyways, I then did little things along the
way, promising to keep it simple unitl the warranty ended. And about 5
miles after the warranty expired I had the bags ordered and started
customizing the truck the way I always imagined... Everything from bags,
shaved exterior, BIG wheels and much, much more. It wasn't until I sent
the truck off to Oklahoma to get Bodydropped that I got frustrated with
the whole scene. It was then that I got robbed on 2 different occassions
by people who were considered to be trustworthy and friends.
They hacked my truck up and charged me outrageous prices for
something I thought would be AWESOME. Well after 2.5 years of not
having my truck and it being in Oklahoma, I finally got it back and it
wasn't AWESOME, it was AWE FULL.... SAD...
I felt like I lost a best friend. Some other buddies felt my pain and did
their best to help me out, problem was I had already blown my budget
on the truck. So after getting their help on the rear, I said STOP!
Their work was great but the work of the other guys crippled the truck
and I did what I could to clean it up and sell it.
What was to be considered the first ever bodydropped stepside became
a BIG EYE SORE... I was PISSED... So after getting the rear looking and
woking right, I sanded and grinded here and there, and
I SOLD IT... I pieced it out as much I could, but never got nearly the
amount I had into it. And I learned many lessons along the way!
But for the 2 guys in OKLAHOMA, Glenn Begue and Brad Houk, they are
worthless in my mind and what goes around come around. You two
guys should never be allowed to work on another vehicle again...
I will have many more pictures and process shots posted soon... So
keep checking back...
Intake and some other little things here and there, nothing special!
